Celebrating our season - virtually - December 2020

What a strange season! Who would have thought we would have ended with a Virtual AGM attended by around 30 members followed a month later by a Virtual Prize Giving attended by around 40 members when the year started. Despite the pandemic and only managing to get on the water from Mid May, we have had a very successful year managing to run most of the racing series and even putting on more cruises and supported sailing days. The balcony and hatch to the bar/galley worked brilliantly and a big thank you to all those who helped with the 25 odd Covid Risk Assessments and Guidance Notes we needed. It was a lot of work, but well worth it as most of our members found a way to enjoy our club. We are now out of season and planning a bigger and better sailing, racing, training and social calendar for 2021 starting towards the end of March. Fingers crossed we can run a normal season!
