Train to drive a powerboat

Duration 2 full days * (approx. 16 hours)

The RYA Powerboat Level 2 is a 2-day practical course aiming to give you the experience and confidence to handle a power boat in ‘familiar waters’ during the day.  No previous experience is necessary for this course

Launching and Recovering

Boat handling underway in different conditions

Close manoeuvring and mooring

Dealing with emergencies and towing

Tidal information and chartwork

Basic VHF radio
