Cadet Sponsorship Success and Opportunity!
We are delighted to announce Silver Cadet Sponsorship from both Practical Car & Van Hire Herne Bay and Jim and Maureen Flower (Jim is our current Club Admiral). Their sponsorship will help embed and support ongoing cadet development at the club. Thank you!!
But this isn't all! We are currently inviting other businesses and individuals to be part of this exciting regeneration programme of the Club’s equipment and facilities to support the growth and development of our small but growing and enthusiastic group of sailing cadets. Over the last couple of years, we have been focusing on developing the Club’s capabilities in providing facilities and a regular programme of sailing activities to support cadets from ages 8 to 18. Our ambition is to provide confidence-building, fun and safe sailing opportunities for young people, which includes growing the size of our current cadet group and establishing more events to encourage beginners (non-members) to experience how great sailing can be.
This sponsorship will complement our 2023 programme and 5 year development plan as well as our Alex Holliday Trust and Smallridge Living Legacy fund which both help youngsters enjoy our fantastic sport.
